Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using QR Platform ("the Service", "we", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
1Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using QR Platform, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age (or 13 in the United States), have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and QR Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
2Description of Service
QR Platform is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows registered users to:
- Create QR codes for 16+ content types (URLs, vCards, WiFi, PDF, SMS, WhatsApp, and more)
- Customise QR code appearance with colours, shapes, frames, and logo overlays
- Generate dynamic QR codes whose destinations can be edited after creation (paid plans)
- Track scan analytics including geographic location, device, browser, and timestamps
- Download QR code images in PNG and SVG formats
- Manage multiple QR codes through a dashboard
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations.
3Account Registration & Security
To use most features of the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You agree to:
- Provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party
- Notify us immediately at security@qrplatform.app of any unauthorised use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or feature restrictions.
One account per person or organisation. You may not transfer your account to another party without our prior written consent.
4Subscriptions & Billing
4.1 Plans
QR Platform offers the following subscription plans (prices in Indian Rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes):

4.2 Billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
- Overdue payments may result in service suspension after a 7-day grace period.
4.3 Cancellation & Downgrade
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. Upon downgrade to a lower plan, QR codes exceeding the new plan limit will become inactive (not deleted) until you upgrade again.
4.4 Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day refund for first-time subscribers who are not satisfied with the Service. To request a refund, contact billing@qrplatform.app within 7 days of your first charge. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable unless required by applicable consumer protection law.
5Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Transmit, distribute, or upload any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or computer systems connected to the Service
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Service without our prior written consent
- Introduce viruses, malware, trojans, or other malicious code into the Service
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks or take any action that could impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service
- Resell or sub-license the Service without our explicit written permission
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk communications
Violations may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, legal action. We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
6QR Code Content Policy
You are solely responsible for the content and destinations of QR codes you create. You must not create QR codes that link to or contain:
We reserve the right to disable any QR code that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these content policies or any applicable law, without prior notice. We may report illegal content to relevant authorities.
You must ensure that any data processed through QR codes (particularly contact or location data in vCards or Maps QR codes) complies with applicable data protection laws and that you have the necessary consent from data subjects.
7Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, trademarks, and all related intellectual property, is owned by QR Platform and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive no ownership rights by using the Service.
7.2 Your Content & License Grant
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload (QR code destinations, logos, custom designs). By using the Service, you grant QR Platform a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.
7.3 Generated QR Code Images
QR code images generated through the Service (PNG and SVG files) are yours to use freely for any lawful commercial or personal purpose without attribution requirements. The underlying QR code generation software remains our property.
7.4 Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free right to use and incorporate such Feedback into the Service without obligation to you.
8Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully — it explains how we collect, use, and protect your data, and how QR scan analytics are processed in compliance with GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
9Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE.
We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will meet your specific requirements; (b) the Service will be available at all times without interruption; (c) any errors or defects will be corrected; or (d) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of destinations linked through QR codes created by users, including third-party websites or services.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above disclaimers apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, QR PLATFORM AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — RESULTING FROM:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
- Any content obtained from the Service
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
- Interruptions, errors, or bugs in the Service
- Any third-party conduct or content accessed through QR codes you create
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ₹1,000 (ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
11Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QR Platform and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your QR code content or the destinations they link to; (d) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
12Termination
12.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings > Account section of the dashboard. Deletion is effective immediately. Prepaid subscription fees for the remaining billing period are non-refundable (except where required by law).
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if: (a) you violate these Terms or our content policies; (b) your account poses a security risk; (c) we are required to do so by law; or (d) we decide to discontinue the Service (with 30 days' notice). We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice except where immediate action is necessary.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination: all active QR codes associated with your account will cease to redirect; dynamic QR codes will show an error page to scanners; your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy retention schedule. Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 of these Terms survive termination.
13Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. For users in the European Union or United Kingdom, mandatory consumer protection provisions under your local law also apply.
14Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution: Before filing a formal complaint, you agree to contact us at legal@qrplatform.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve it within 30 days.
Arbitration: If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The arbitration shall be conducted in English, with a sole arbitrator, and the seat of arbitration shall be as agreed by the parties.
Jurisdiction: For matters not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
EU/UK Users: Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence or to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action or representative proceeding.
15Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before the new Terms take effect, and by posting a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
